Cellulite is an accumulation of adipose (fatty) tissue, fluid and toxins pushing against weak connective tissue.
In order to treat this condition we need to:
a) Break down the fatty tissue
b) Stimulate circulation and remove the waste through the lymphatic system
c) Strengthen the connective tissue.
Our HI-FU treatment uses ultrasound energy to ablate fatty tissue at 1-1.5 mm per session. The fatty tissue is then removed by the body through the lymphatic system. The subsequent passes work to strengthen the connective tissue by enhancing collagen production.
This treatment is suitable for smoothing cellulite or removing stubborn pockets of fat in non-obese people. 3 Sessions are required 4- 6 weeks apart, resulting in a loss of approximately 3-4.5mm of fatty tissue after 3 treatments.
