What Happens During the Procedure?

The laser hair removal process is simple. The Candela GentleMax Pro Laser emits light and heat through the outer layers of the skin to target the hair follicles below. The pigment in each follicle absorbs this heat, impairing the follicle, causing existing hair to fall out, and minimizing future hair growth.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Laser hair removal is only effective on hair follicles in the active growth stage, so multiple sessions are necessary to target an entire area. Most clients require 6 to 10 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal results. Thanks to our advanced technology, you may need fewer sessions than at other clinics.

Preparing for your Treatment

Avoid sun exposure and fake tan for at least two weeks before your appointment. Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session, and refrain from using any hair removal methods that pull hair from the root for at least four weeks prior. On the day of your appointment, avoid applying creams, or deodorants to the treatment area.
